Jack Williams and Still On The Hill
Music Workshop Weekend
at Wattle Hollow, West Fork AR

Listen to how much fun we have at the retreat!
This clip was recorded during Jack's workshop "De-Mystifying Music Theory"
as he was illustrating an example of how the essential chords of any key can move from one
to the other by means of stretching (augmenting) or compressing (diminishing) notes of the chord,
and how these altered notes feel to the voice as they move. Recorded by Andrea T.

"You've created something really great, making a safe place for people to bring
their magnificent doofus selves out into the open to learn,
grow and have fun. Beautiful."   Willie C.

"...that magical place where risk is safety. Where new friends become new songs in my heart." Sparky

"Jack, Kelly, Donna, and all those I have come to know and love
at Wattle Hollow are such an inspiration to me! [My wife] tells people

Wattle Hollow is a very special place - a beautiful, natural retreat with two large streams running through it. The retreat is used mostly for spiritual getaways and yoga retreats, with occasional special events like ours that fit the vision of Joy, the owner. The accommodations are comfortable but rustic (think summer camp). Rooms are well furnished and cozy, and some of the bathrooms are composting toilets - more than outhouses but less than modern bathrooms. (Joy is very proud of them!) Shower facilities are limited.  You can read all about the history and goings-on at the Hollow on their webpage - www.wattlehollow.com . We're confident that everyone who comes to Wattle Hollow will fall in love with its beauty and peacefulness.
